Suicide Squad's Joker Won't Really Have Those Tattoos?

When this picture of Jared Leto in his full Joker look hit the web last week, there was A LOT of fan backlash for the Joker having tattoos.

But now it looks like the image could be merely a promotional still for the Joker's 75th anniversary, and not representative of how he'll look in the film.

According to NerdReactor, the Joker may actually be plain-faced, yet pallid.

The suggestion first popped up from Indie Revolver, which posted on Twitter that the tattoos featured in the image were merely for a promo shoot: 

And while it's far from confirmation, Latino-Review Tweeted that they have heard similar things about the Joker shot: 

And further proof to ease your fears would be the lack of tattoos in any of the on-set spy photos taken of Leto in Joker costume. And while most of the tattoos in the official image can be covered by the Joker's outerwear, the one on his face would still have remained.
