Could a member of the Arrow cast be moving on?
It sure sounds like it. Arrow stars Stephen Amell’s social media accounts are hinting at an emotional farewell later this season. But to whom?
The final batch of episodes in Arrow‘s third season are shaping up to what seems to be a couple of intense episodes. As Arrow has finished filming season 3, episode 19, “Broken Arrow”. Of which the title sounds a bit ominous.
Well on Monday, Stephen Amell tweeted something worrisome to fans:
Stephen Amell, who teased an "emotional, touching and heartfelt" scene, noting that "sometimes goodbyes are tough. Even when they're scripted."
Goodbye? Our first thought is that it sounds like someone is dying, though a slightly better case scenario could be that someone is simply leaving, perhaps for one of the spinoffs in the same universe.
But before there’s more evidence to dissect that theory. And worry fans hearts even more!
Amell also took to Facebook:
It still sounds like a character we know and love could be dying. But whom?
We can’t help but wonder if they maybe killing of Roy Harper. Or maybe Roy will be leaving the show. It’s worth noting that in the DC Comics, Roy and Oliver eventually have a falling out that leads the two to stop working together. With Roy coming into his own as Arsenal this season and butting heads with Oliver more and more, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see a similar rift form between the two characters.
And maybe Thea will be the one suiting up to honor a fallen Roy, as Laurel did for her late sister, Sara. And will take on the role of Speedy.
Another character we could potentially lose would be Quentin Lance, as his health has been at the forefront all season. His heart issues were the reason Laurel kept Sara’s death a secret for so long, and he’s regularly popping pills as a reminder of his precarious condition.
Or they maybe be going big and killing (Or leaving for some reason) Diggle or Smoak. But that of course is very unlikely since they are such fan favorites among the Arrowheads. And they are such a crucial part of the show. But i just had to throw the idea out there.
