"Legends of the Lasat" is the twelfth episode of the second season of Star Wars Rebels and while it doesn't particularly further the main story that we seem to be building towards, it does further the character of Zeb.
In this episode, our heroes receive intel from an old friend (spoilers) about Imperial refugees in need. But what they don't know is that these two refugees are Lasats, the same race as Zeb, who was previously thought to be the last. Through the episode we get to know more about Zeb and the Lasat culture, including their view on the Force.
What really stands out in this episode is the visuals and the music. At one point our heroes run into an anomaly in space and it is one of the most beautiful things we've ever seen in Star Wars, the movies included. On top of these visuals is a symphonic score that is unlike anything we've heard in the show so far.
This episode stands out among the best character focused episodes of this season so far. I felt as though I got to know and respect Zeb as more than just the loveable jerk of the crew. I give this episode an A+.
