According to the extra, the ending of the film has already been filmed. One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod's body.
While GeekTyrant treated the news as only a rumor, since they have no way to confirm the extra's information, BadassDigest has since chimed in, confirming the information given by the extra as true.
According to BadassDigest, Luthor gathers pieces of the World Engine from Man of Steel and uses it to synthesize Kryptonite. Zod's body plays an important role in Luthor's plan, as the tissue taken from the corpse will be used to create an enemy capable of defeating Superman.
While the report doesn't say the name, they heavily imply that the opponent is (Well i already think you guessed it) but Doomsday, the monster who killed Superman in the "Death of Superman" story-line from back in 1990s.
