The Daily Beast have sifted through more of the "Sony Hack" emails, and they reveal some potentially very interesting details about a few other upcoming superhero movies.
First of all, after discussing plans for a shared Spider-Man Cinematic Universe, Michael De Luca, co-president of production for Columbia Pictures, told Sony boss Amy Pascal that they should be trying to emulate what 20th Century Fox are planning on doing with the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises; a giant team-up movie! His source?
Writer and producer Simon Kinberg. "[Simon] Kinberg told me fox is steering X-Men and Fantastic Four into an eventual team up film,"
De Luca revealed, confirming a long standing rumor in the process. It's unclear when all this might go down, but you have to imagine it will be at some point in the next few years with The Fantastic Four set for 2015 and X-Men: Apocalypse on the way the following year. Is this and awesome plan or what? So lets just wait and hope for this to be 100% confirmed as of right now.
