Whedon's farewell to Ant-Man's Edgar Wright
Following Edgar Wright’s shocking exit from Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man, one of the company’s top dogs has chimed in with an absolutely perfect tribute.
As fans likely know, Wright’s magnum opus is what he calls the The Cornetto Trilogy — made up of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End.
The three films star Wright’s frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and all feature cameos from the “Cornetto” ice cream brand, which loosely ties it all together.
In honor of Wright’s departure, Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon busted out his own delicious Cornetto in remembrance.
