A photo of the entire cast of Suicide Squad has been released. The photo was released on social media by director David Ayer, who wrote, "Task Force X assembled and ready."
While they definitely look gritty and grounded, they at least look like the kind of crew who won't mind having a little bit of fun. They're not exactly the good guys, after all. Check it out:
Noticeably absent from the photo though is Jared Leto, who is playing The Joker. It's possible that Ayer didn't see the need to include him. Or maybe The Joker isn't a member of the team and maybe suggests that the rumors he's escaped and the Squad is hunting him are true.
The photo debut's the big-screen look at characters fans have long been waiting to see in a live-action film. Especially Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. She seems to have more of a roller derby-inspired look, then a clownish look.
And notably Enchantress look is very very different to her old one from the comics. It seems they wanted to make her look there own. Captain Boomerang seems to be keeping to his Jacket look but with twist. It's very different to Digger Harkness Captain Boomerang from Arrow, other than the Jacket.
And then there's also, of course, the debut of the big-screen looks of every single other character in the photo. There names are, from left to right:
Slipknot (Adam Beach), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje), and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez).
But that's not all. New images has surfaced since this big reveal. Ayer tweeted out a solo shot of Deadshot, revealing that he will indeed have a mask. Which i think is pretty cool looking.
Also some new set pics have leaked online giving us a better look at the crew especially Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in costume. You can check them out over at Dailymail.
What do you think of the cast fully assembled in costume? Suicide Squad is set to be released in movie theaters on August 5, 2016.
