While 20th Century Fox has yet to officially confirm or deny, X-Men: Days of Future Past star Evan Peters seems to think that his character, Quicksilver, will be returning for the sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse.
When asked by I Am Rogue about whether or not he’d be returning, Peters said:
“I think so, yes. I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say…I haven’t seen a script."
Peters went on to clarify that he no idea when production on the film might begin, saying:
"No. We’ll see. I think...I don’t know what I can say and what I can’t say. All I can say is that I have not seen a script yet."
I think that it is a logical answer to say that Quicksilver will return in X-Men Apocalypse. Since he has quickly became a fan-favorite. After his character pretty much stole the movie after that amazing scene at the prison. Which i have embed below, if you want to check it out.
X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to open in theaters May 27, 2016.
