Disney might've chilled down with its final decision on James Gunn, but it looks like actor Dave Bautista isn't ready to let go of the topic any time soon.
In a recent interview on the Jonathan Ross show, the former WWE wrestler expressed his feelings on working with Disney, confessing that he doesn't want to work with them anymore.
“There’s a bit of an issue. It's such a bitter-sweet conversation. Um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn." he stated, adding, "they’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”
This is the first time the actor has opened up so clearly to that inquiry.
In the past, he stated he would do what he was obligated to do, but only if Disney promised to use Gunn's script. And even though reports have affirmed that they will use the Gunn's script, turns out that Dave still wants out anyways.
So what's next? Does this imply they will kill Dave's character (Drax The Destroyer) in the upcoming Avengers 4?
Possibly. But we can't be certain of anything, especially when Dave confirmed that they're already done shooting the upcoming installment.
Dave said, "I guess I wasn’t supposed to say anything, but I was already saying before Avengers 3 was released that I had already filmed four and I was signed up for Guardians 3."
He also led on to spoil the movie a bit, confirming that the Guardians had more screen time than the rest of the characters in the movie.
"We definitely see more Guardians in the upcoming Avengers, which we’ve already shot," he said.
"It’s comforting," he added, "but at the same time I felt a sense of guilt because I don’t know if I was supposed to say anything. And nobody told me not to say anything."
Disney currently has put the third Guardians movie on hold for reasons that nobody can obtain. But it's more than obvious it has something to do with the firing of Gunn and Bautista not willing to extend his role as Drax.
