Incredibly, Joss Whedon’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is just five short months away, and as part of their announcement regarding their upcoming slate of films, Disney has unveiled a new image of Marvel’s first team of superheroes.

The image shows a moment glimpsed in the trailer from the opposite perspective, our team looking on at James Spader’s Ultron as he rudely bursts in on a social gathering to deliver his maligning monologue.

Our Avengers team of Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) are accompanied by Tony Stark’s friend and accomplice James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), SHIELD Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), And of course the mystery women newcomer Dr. Cho, played by Claudia Kim.

Regarding Claudia Kim's character's identity, should it be from Marvel Comics, speculation has run rampant especially after Kim was seen in the Age of Ultron trailer hanging out with Earth's mightiest heroes during their downtime. Well, the mystery is no more as Disney confirms (via Collider) that she is Dr. Cho.

It was first reported back in March that Claudia Kim had been picked by writer/director Joss Whedon for a "substantial" supporting role somewhere in Avengers: Age of Ultron. And the actress had even revealed that she'd be playing a doctor/scientist and an old friend of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark.

It may not be a huge reveal, but at least we now know Claudia Kim is not playing a major character from the comics... or do we?

But there is a notable character from the Marvel lore that shares that surname. Amadeus Cho has appeared mostly as a supporting character in comics featuring the Avengers, especially Hulk and Hercules. However, given he's male, and is often portrayed as a teen prodigy, the common surname may just be a coincidence as opposed to a direct reference to that Marvel character.

The original cast of Avengers will be joined by Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, and Paul Bettany as The Vision. ‘Age of Ultron’ is scheduled for a May 1, 2015 release.
