Disney and Lucasfilm have released the second official trailer to Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. And guess what Han Solo and Chewbacca make an appearance.

And as well as all this Star Wars: The Force Awakens promo posters have made their way online. But will get to that in a minute.

Debuting at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, the trailer is viewers’ first new look at the Star Wars universe since the first trailer debuted in November 2014. You can check out the trailer below.

I'll give you an analyses of the best bits here. But there's a lot to digest, so bear with me. (And before you read it this analyses is not in the order of the trailer.)

Lets start with. The last scene in the trailer has Han telling “Chewie” they’re home. The scene looks like they may be in a cantina on Tatooine. And then we have the full shot of the Stormtroopers new a redesign. There’s also the insignia on the red banner behind the assembled Stormtroopers, which is not the same as the Imperial insignia, suggesting that maybe some new organization is giving the orders.

We also see villainous Kylo Ren and his crossguard-bearing lightsaber in action, and our first in-motion look at that awesome looking chrome stormtrooper, who is rumored to be the character Captain Phasma, played by Gwendoline Christie. We also have a look at that hooded figure, which seems to be Luke, at least the trailer seems to want us to believe that. Why has he traded the natural looking prosthetic hand. Back for one that looks much more mechanical? I'm not sure. Maybe he wants to look more like his father? Maybe the dark side has gotten to him?

And in the beginning we also saw Vader’s helmet resting on a black pedestal suggesting someone with an Imperial or Sith allegiance has it in their possession. And there's one more thing i thought i should mention. Luke mentions his sister having the force, and then a women receiving a lightsaber. Leading us to believe that it is Leia receiving a lightsaber. And if so why is it being given to Leia?

And including all this we still have those Star Wars: The Force Awakens promo posters that i mentioned before. (You can check them out in the gallery below) Such photos include a brand new detailed look at the mystery villain who wields the 3-bladed Lightsaber - Kylo Ren. While the source of these is still unknown, they’re pretty fantastic looking. We also get a look at the new flame throwing Stormtroopers! And also have a look at those redesigned stormtroopers and Empire spaceships.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2015.
