In eight days from now, Netflix will release the first season of Daredevil and viewers will see many of the Man Without Fear’s most famous supporting characters.
But now showrunner Steven DeKnight says there are plenty of characters from his classic comics that can still be introduced, and he already has two in mind.
Although a second season hasn't been announced, DeKnight told SciFiNow that Elektra and Bullseye are among the many characters that could potentially be explored in a follow-up story.
"Looking forward, there are so many stories to tell. The Hand, Elektra, Bullseye… with a 13-episode arc you don’t have to rush it; you can explore. That’s not to say we are going to do Bullseye and Elektra, but it’s on the radar." showrunner Steven DeKnight told SciFiNow.
Now the sound of his plans for the Netflix series keep on getting better and better. I would be so great if they turned up in the show.
Especially since they we're such a crucial part of the original Daredevil comics
Both characters were used in Ben Affleck's 2003 film, played by Colin Farrell and Jennifer Garner. Elektra is a martial arts expert who is one of Daredevil’s primary love interests. And is also a superhero in her own right. Bullseye is a mytersious mercenary known for using any object as a weapon as he is an almost super-human ability to aim and toss items.
Daredevil’s 13 episodes will air on Netflix on April 10.
