Warner Bros. has given its Man of Steel sequel an official title. It's also released an updated logo that features a hybrid of the Batman and Superman symbols. The movie is no longer called Batman vs. Superman. It's now Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Considering the film's characters, we shouldn't be surprised that the word justice found its way into the title. So far it's been confirmed that Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will appear in the movie. Because of that, previously some called it Batman vs. Superman: Trinity or simply Justice League Lite. It's good to have a legit title on the books.
That being said, Justice League is definitely happening, and Batman v Superman will be it's beginning. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, with Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. So get ready and brace yourself because Justice is Coming!!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes to theaters May 6, 2016.
