Batman vs. Superman is actually The Justice League?

That's right folks - it looks as though rumours of an impending Justice League movie are back with a vengeance. But it might not be as far off as we thought. After the casting of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in the upcoming 'Batman vs. Superman' it's starting to look as though Warner Bros. are assembling their Justice League. And it could turn out that this Superman sequel is actually going to be a Justice League movie…

I know what you're thinking - apart from Wonder Woman's confirmed appearance in 'Batman vs. Superman' the rumours of Justice League members featuring in the movie are pure speculation. And that's exactly what I thought, too.

But now it seems those rumours might carry a little more weight as Daniel Alter - a Warner Bros. Producer - reveals a little more than he should…

"@leebyBADASS_@DAlter007 any news on what the title of Batman vs Superman is gonna be?" Justice League...

Claiming that the upcoming 'Man of Steel' sequel is actually a Justice League movie, it's something many of have wondered from the very start. And with Gal Gadot recently cast as Wonder Woman, it certainly seems as though Warner Bros. are getting the team together.

"@nailbiter111@DAlter007 We shall assume that tweet was "wishful thinking"?" Btwn that and an educated guess :-)

While this is nowhere near confirmation that we'll be getting a Justice League movie in 2014, it certainly seems to lend weight to many of the recent rumours that Warner Bros. are actively casting other members of the Justice League. But is it really the right way to go about this?

Obviously, Warner Bros. are keen to replicate the success of 'Avengers Assemble'. And who can blame them? Managing a colossal $1.5 billion at the box office, it soon became the third highest-grossing film of all time. But let's not forget that each of the Avengers already starred in their own solo outings. Can the Justice League really assemble in a single film without feeling as though characters have been shoehorned in?

Honestly, I'm not so sure. And as much as I want to see the Justice League take to the big screen, I really hope they don't rush this. After all, these are some of the World's finest. And they deserve better.

Do you think 'Batman vs. Superman' will be a Justice League film? Can it really work without introducing each hero first? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
